Have you read "the portable atheist"? Christopher Hitchins collected a bunch of writings from great heretics(uestioners, but not exclusively atheists). There's a great one from Betrand Russell and I think some Spinoza. Working my way through, but definately worth a spot on the shelf.
Hi! I don't know why we haven't connected before now, but here we are. I used to be a small town atheist too. I lived in Middleburg, FL, a town that is still controlled by Southern Baptists. I only go back there to see my sister and grandparents.
